Autumn Alternatives

The dress is the Liberty of London print "Rosalind" with piped corduroy collar and cuffs. It uses the Lee #10 yoke and sleeves, the Virginia #90 collar and the Kinsey #222 skirt. Use the following instructions for the shaped turned up cuff.

  1. Alter the sleeveband according to the illustrations. Cut 2 sleevebands and 2 sleeveband linings.
  2. Sew piping on curved edge.
  3. Sew underarm seams of both sleeveband and sleeveband lining.
  4. With right sides together, stitch sleeveband to sleeveband lining on top of where piping was stitched. Turn to right side of sleeveband and press.
  5. Place right side of cuff to wrong side of sleeve. Stitch cuff to sleeve. Trim and zigzag seam. Turn cuff up over sleeve.
